Parents Fight Back Against Toy Recall

Parents are really ticked off about the Mattel recall. Well, who wouldn't have guessed it! The Tampa Tribune is reporting about angry parents who don't want to accept the Mattel vouchers that are being promised to people who return the defective toys.

Some Walmarts are offering refunds for the defective toys, so if you don't want a voucher, you might try that. If you are unhappy with the idea of getting a voucher, instead of money back, voice your concern by giving Mattel a call at 1-800-916-4748 or emailing on their website http://www.service.mattel.com/.

A lot of people are worried about lead poisoning from the lead paint in the toys. If you even suspect something may have happened to your child because of playing with or eating or chewing on the toys, see your pediatrician right away. They can do a simple lead test.
