Parents Call for Recall of Mattel Hot Wheel Maniacs Car

Parents in Australia are calling for another Mattel toy to be pulled from the shelves. Hot Wheels Maniac is a car

"with a digital driver who according to the
literature, "begs, pleads and asks for more pain. Kids can over-feed, electro
shock and torture these digital drivers"."

Mothers groups are outraged there and are calling for the toys' removal due to its abhorrent messages for children and adults about torture and violence.

I did a quick search for them and found them at EToys. The description says "Meet the Maniacs, digital drivers ready for some out-of-control action. Spin 'em, flick 'em or press their buttons for hilarious reactions, cool games and crazy interactive fun. But best of all, you're calling the shots as you take these gassy goofballs on a drive to remember."

I'll bet they'd remember your children torturing them until they scream.....who designs this crap, anyway! I'm behind the Australians all the way with this one.
