My littlest one begged me for months to buy her Aqua Dots. Thanks goodness, I didn't give in to the endless commercials for them. They looked kind of cool as an art project, but I resisted. Now they are recalled for becoming the equivalent of the date rape drug when ingested. I have heard it all now. I had hopes for the American toy market. Now - I give up. I might as well throw everything in the trash.How could this happen people! HOW! Everyone better get off their booties and call your people in Washington and make sure they put an end to this. What can we really count on getting our children that is safe?
Hey, I missed some time the past two days due to my "procedure" but I will be catching you all up in a few posts on all the millions of recalled toys - I will post more later! Gotta get the kids at school!

i heard about this Aqua Dots NEWS lately in TVs as well, and its kinda shocking that a lot of toys lately are being recalled due to usafe chemicals being used and most of these stuff ended up in the hands of the little ones!
Jaze - I really thought I couldn't be shocked after all the lead paint, and then this came out - I really have no trust left in big business and their practices. The consumer is not being looked after.
